Really lovely Cafe and restaurant with big open windows for perfect people watching. There's a lounge area with a few armchairs that was good for letting the baby play. They have high chairs, baby changing and were very accommodating - including being very dog friendly.

Literally hosted my Mums 70th birthday party at Hixon Green this evening and wanted to write a review the minute I left. I was honestly so overwhelmed by the incredible staff and service, the ability to go above and beyond to make sure all the stops were pulled off to make the day special. A huge shout out to Leigh for his support from start to finish! Could not have done it without you. If anyone is thinking of having a small celebration, baby shower or even an event launch - the upstairs hire is the perfect spot for it

i had my birthday party here and booked the top floor for 40 people and it was fantastic service was perfect and the cocktails were divine, the atmosphere and interiors of the restaurant are stunning. perfect for hosting! would recommend to anyone thank you for the perfect night!

Visit was early morning - 4only due to few other customers (no problem at all!). Light, airy, comfortable. Good music (not intrusive). Service excellent quality of food/beverages very good. Relaxed atmosphere. Lavatories spotless with all amenities. Will definitely return.

We had extremely nice experience! Food was nice, drinks were good ... on top of that we were sitting outside and weather was great, so my husband and 3 of our babies had a great time! We ordered 3 dishes between us and I was full, we are two fairly well build guys (both around 100kg) so we thought we might be hungry after just 1 dish each... nope we were wrong.... Food was delicious, presentation was great and our waiter was very helpful and friendly. He informed us about longer than usual wait (place was packed), sever drinks very fast and it was a pleasure to sit outside and enjoy sun! We found easily parking spot next to the venue. The only one thing I would recommend for owner is to make sure everyone firm staff know the menu and can describe what we can expect from products. I asked about coffee, what kind of coffee they have and what is the taste of it. They were not able to tell me in the bar. WE ARE RECOMMENDING THIS SPOT!!!

Tasty food and good quality nice portion friendly staff. All coming from management system specially their very good manager. Carpark next to the restaurant is available and very cheap. As this is a very warm and pleasant environment which you can have good time together with your friends and family. For having a meal or drink. Quality of products are good, they have very friendly and knowledgeable staff so this is the reason you can high quality food and drink. I strongly recommend to use their services. All tourists and Brighton visitors should not miss this lovely cousin restaurant %100.

Lovely place for brunch! Staff are so friendly and service was quite quick given how busy the place was. Good range of mocktails and the Vegetarian Hixon was very filling. Got the Hixon Freffle to share but I could’ve had it myself (would definitely recommend)!
